WHAT JAIPUR TAUGHT ME ABOUT COLOR
An exploration of Indian textiles, artistry and the cultural influences that continue to shape my approach to interiors.

Growing up between American architecture and Indian heritage gave me an innate sensitivity to how pattern and pigment live together.

In Jaipur, color is not an accent; it is an atmosphere. Deep saffron, royal lapis, rich terracotta, and delicate rose quartz sandstone create harmonies that defy timid palettes. In my work across Richmond and Henrico, I translate this conviction into residential sanctuaries—grounding bold block-printed textiles and rich velvets within serene architectural millwork.
